I say Bull$#!+. Most of the Mexicans who come here illegally are small and thin from a lifetime of inferior peasant food. Once they get here, some of them bloat up by over-indulging in heavy American foods and abundant sweet goodies. But contrary to your indoctrination, most Americans are not overweight or obese. Only about 10% are.
And why would you pay attention to “the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development” anyway? Who are these clowns? Have you ever heard of them? They can’t even spell the word “Organization” right.

That’s the British spelling of organization.
*More than 1 in 3 adults are considered to be obese.
*More than 1 in 20 adults are considered to have extreme obesity.
*About one-third of children and adolescents ages 6 to 19 are considered to be overweight or obese.
*More than 1 in 6 children and adolescents ages 6 to 19 are considered to be obese.
Definitions may be overly strict, of course, but those are the statistics.
