I just remembered, on the hill next to the Circle Drive In is Long Beach Community hospital. I remember that patients on the east side of the hospital had the movie sound available in there rooms (this was in the late 60’s to early 70’s)

I was in an east-facing room in the early 60s and spent a good deal of time looking down at the hilarity on the Traffic Circle.
