I watched it for a long while.
Then, the Emily Prentiss Secret Agent was a bit much. Then, Emily Prentiss Secret Agent gets killed and gets a funeral, but come to find out, she really wasn’t killed and didn’t really get buried.
That series of about 3 or 4 episodes was the ‘jump the shark’ for me.
Even then, they were like some other shows — NCIS, Bones, etc., — in trying to come up with more and more evil criminals and ways to desecrate bodies.
Now substitute real life with any of this TV programming and you will still be able to find something to complain about.
This is supposed to be entertainment, not perfection. The bad news is that most TV shows have the same issues. The good news is you can click the remote and change the channel or hit the off button and turn it off. Then try reading a book or a magazine article or a newspaper item by an author with his personal bias and point of view instead of your own. Funny how life is like that, isn't it?
No, I took CSPAN off my scan list.
I hate that show. Just in case some sicko can’t think of anything really awful to do they can watch criminal minds show you how and where and what really sick thing to do in all its graphic glory. Disgusting.
Yep then I turned that stupid show off right away. Pollution attacks the mind as well as the environment.

I’m hooked, kinda tired of it now because I think I’ve seen most. I like Dr. Reed the best and after him - the computer lady whose name escapes me at the moment.
You probably wouldn't like one of our favorite programs which shows blood, guts, injuries, disease, violence and death in many episodes.
It's called "The Incredible Dr. Pol" about a vet in Michigan. We watched it because we raise beef cattle and it is very realistic, informative and instructive.
Step away from the TV, unplug it and get some fresh air. You should be fine.
I’ve watched it over the years - but - BUT
I agree with others - even if well grounded, and strong moral compass - it’s sometimes hard to see the Depravity of Man. I try to imagine being the God-fearing Christian FBI person who actually WOULD have to hunt these sick evil creeps - someone good has to actually do the job in real life.
With that said, what I can’t stand - is over the past few years, the little or blatant jabs and/or story lines about the ‘Religious kook(s)’, or Bible-thumping enraged Dad who over-spanked the kids and now kid is crazed lunatic - or the homophobe who kills queers ‘in the name of God’ - or some other Lib attack on Christians. Let alone the attacks on 2nd Amendment rights.
But the actors are really good - Hotch (can’t believe he was Greg on Darma & Greg), JJ (easy on the eyes), Reed (little boy genius) and Joe Montegna and Derek Morgan (black guy). JLH was meh this season, not bad, not great. Garcia grows on you (ok, maybe not).
My wife watches it constantly, but it’s too creepy for me. And there’s at least one episode that’s pure leftist homo propaganda.
“British mystery series”
Yep, that’s what we’re enjoying too: Midsomer Murders, Death in Paradise, Sherlock, Hinterland.
That’s cool about your grand daughter!
My family watches it all the time - I watch it infrequently with them. It got old for me.
My daughter’s (and mine) favorite scene with the daughter and dad in the undercover witness protection system, and the dad figures it out and finally catches up with the bad guy that had been torturing his daughter, just moments before the FBI figures it out.
Reed sees the dad with a shotgun pointed at the bad guy’s head. Daughter is yelling “Do it Daddy, do it!”
Reed: “Put the gun down, is this how you want your daughter to see you?”
“Do it Daddy, do it!!”
“Put the gun down. When will it all end?”
BANG
“Tomorrow”
Yeah - it’s dark.
Midsomer Murders has been one our favorites along with Foyle’s War.

Hey PJ, lighten up a little. I said it with tongue-in-cheek, trying to get you to bite and you did.
Joe is one of my friends of longest-standing in show business. A standup guy in every respect.
In Joe’s case, his innate good character shines through whatever character he is playing.
Good to hear that. He comes across as a regular everyday guy. I’m not much of a fan of celebrities but if he’s staring in something, I make an effort to see it. Well, not The Godfather, go figure. Give him a handshake from me.
