Neighbors hate this dog so much they’re leaving mean notes — and traps

I loved near a barking dog for two freaking years. All damn day. Into the night.

At night, I’d seal my house and run a fan so I could sleep.

But the day...

The animal NEVER stopped. NEVER.

The owners only let him in for the evenings.

Fried my nerves to the roots.

I didn’t hate the dog. I hated the stupid owners. Why do you own a freaking dog if you’re just going to leave it in the yard all the time? What’s the point? If you’re working all day, what’s the dog supposed to do? Don’t people realize that the animals need social interaction and exercise? At least take him for a walk when you get home.

Then they moved and I learned to appreciate true peace and quiet.

We have a Pyrenees.
She barks a lot at night, but we’re widely separated from neighbors.
One elderly neighbor called us a while back and asked if our dog was OK because she hadn’t heard her at night for a while and was worried about her.
