Debbie Harry hasnt always looked so well-kept. She was beautiful in her heyday and looks good now, but there was a decade or so that apparently was pretty rough, no idea why. I just recall being saddened when I saw her on some late night show, 10 maybe 15 years ago.

She was in her early 30’s by the time Blondie hit it big, so she was always a bit older than rest. She also took some time off to take care of one of her sick bandmates. IMO, she is one of the best pop/rock singers, ever.
“New Wave” was the soundtrack of high school and college for me. Some of it was awful and contrived, and hasn’t aged well. Some of it was brilliant and has stood the test of time. I cringe whenever I hear “Rapture” but Blondie had a few others that are right up there. “Heart Of Glass” is a classic.
