Rainy up north here in NW Iowa too, greeneyes.

My garden is about half planted. Potato patch is doing well, and I’ve got it about half hilled. First two patches of sweet corn are up and looking good. It’s been too wet to get my last and biggest patch in the ground.

Rain is such a blessing, but the timing on planting so far this year has been tough.

Oh well, just gotta persevere!

Typical for Missouri Spring. Usually pretty wet, but it’s great to collect the water for July and August, so I’m not complaining.

One advantage of the raised beds, and Mel’s mix is that they dry out quicker than the rest of the stuff, so Planting gets done there more often than the other patches.

I grew up in NW Iowa. Sure wish I had some of the black dirt down here in SC!
