Indian has been owned by several companies over the years so it’s anything but an Indian except in name only. Polaris isn’t Indian.. more like the AMF days of Harley but Harley never went under.

“In the ‘60s I had a bicycle based on the Indian Scout. It came with a plastic Thompson that lit up and made noise. I loved it as a bitty boy. ;)”

That’d be worth a fortune today.

I know. I kick myself for not keeping it and the stuff it came in. Ah well.. hindsight. At least I got to enjoy it back then.

You are right. Who thought about that stuff back then.

I wish I still had all my Matchbox cars and Aurora Thunderjet 500 slot cars.

Yo Johnnie

I scored a ‘46 Chief in the 60s...a bobber with a chrome 4”-over girder...no front fender.

I still have it.

I'll bet you are glad to have it.

Not all of us kept what we wish now we had.

At least the little guy that was me had a good time with it.

I also had a 55 Chevy sedan wagon (2dr) and if it had been up to me, I’d still have that as well....but there was this ex.

I think they should have toned down the cam covers; kind of looks out character.

Wish I still had my 73 FLH. Basically a police bike. Old school cool. Yes, it leaked a little.

I like what I’ve seen in this current incarnation of Indian Motorcycles.

Hopefully Polaris will be able to keep the brand alive.

I visited back in the 90’s.

It’s still there! :-)
