It would be better if the "test" used the words 'conservative and liberal' instead of democrat and republican.
It is accurate as a test of conservative as compared to liberals.
The republicans in congress these days are a sorry lot.

I liked it, but libs could respond:
If a conservative doesn't like abortion, he wants to ban it. If a liberal doesn't like it, he allows it.
If a conservative doesn't like gay marriage, he wants to ban it. If a liberal doesn't like gay marriage, he allows it.
One rejoinder would be that libs APPROVE of abortion and gay marriage, so that their approval is no sign of tolerance for dissenting views or practices, but merely a ratification of what they already believe.
