These must be very troubling and frustrating times for you, homophobes. A majority of Americans now support marriage equality, and face it, if it’s not fully recognized where you live yet, it will be and soon. A majority of us also support gay political candidates, and we seem to be able to watch gay people on television and movies and listen to them as we drive around in post breakup sadness without the fabric of society crumbling — probably because if you look across the population, it’s composed entirely of people who either are LGBT or who know someone who is.
And yet, bless your tenacious, confused, chilly little hearts, some of you still don’t get it. And you just cannot stop talking about it. Drivers in the Detroit metro area this week were surprised — some of them stunned enough to pull over — when they saw a billboard that showed a picture of a woman who was “born Asian” and a rainbow-striped man who was “not born this way” and the message that “Homosexuality is a behavior. Not a civil right.” Obviously, there are bible verses involved. It’s the work of a charmingly low production values site called Restrain the Judges. It promises, “In order to prevent the Roe v. Wade of Marriage, we must act now” and urges visitors to mail politicians “to use the authority granted by the U.S. Constitution to restrain federal judges and the Supreme Court from undermining marriage any further!”
Why? Because the organization says, “The homosexual agenda brings with it an unprecedented assault on religious liberty and freedom of conscience against pastors, churches, business and facility owners, employees, public officials, organizations, ministries, and citizens.” You know, blah blah blah AGENDA...

There you have it! Mary Elizabeth Williams speaks for this current generation when she castigates as hateful and offensive anyone who would dare question homosexuality or homosexual marriage. 6000 years of civilization be damned!
To this generation, it’s about love. It’s about family. It’s about fairness. Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with fact, truth, or statistics that show that homosexuality is a bane to any civilized society.
The average life expectancy of a homosexual male in the United States hovers around 45 (25 years less than the national average). As a group, homosexuals are the most diseased, depressed, and heavily medicated. If you loved someone, wouldn't you warn them not to engage in behaviors that would result in their early death? Wouldn't you seek their help before they ended up dead? Not only a threat to the individual, homosexuality it destroys the moral fabric of culture.
Jesus Christ came to earth to set me free with the truth. The truth is that homosexuality is deadly, resulting not only in physical death, but spiritual death as well. To save homosexuals and all sinners, Jesus Christ laid his life down to pay for our sins and offers redemption to anyone who will repent, turn from their sin, and believe in Him. Previous generations heeded His call and accepted his free gift. Will this generation hear?

Acting out gayness is a behavior.

Certain organs should not be placed in certain orifices. It is perverted (i.e., abnormal).
So the billboard is right. Refute its message instead of resorting to juvenile name-calling and nyah nyah nyah tactics.
And bear in mind that even if faux "marriage" is "here and happening," that doesn't mean we have to accept it. There will be more billboards and more resistance and ultimately, it may come down to worse. If -- when? -- it does, people like Lezzie Lizzie here will be among the first to suffer.
Muslims aren’t smart. Just redirect them to places like Salon, etc. Dupe websites. Blog Salon posting muhamod cartoons, etc.
We can’t call homosexuality a mental illness any more, even though it is.
We can’t call homosexuality a sin any more, even though it is.
We can’t call homosexuality a lifestyle or a lifestyle choice any more, even though it is.
Now the far left activists are ordering us around again: We can’t call homosexuality a behavior any more, even though it is.
If they would just shut up about it, we wouldn’t talk about it, and then both sides would be happy (or they would if they were honest and really only wanted what they claim to want). Decent people have no interest in the perversion of others, and we don’t want to hear about it. If they would merely leave us alone, I’m certain that normal people would never ask. The problem is that what the far left wants is to compel us to openly celebrate the sin, perversion, mental illness and unhealthy lifestyle that homosexual behavior constitutes. That is never going to happen - free people do not surrender to force.
young white women are a WEIRD bunch today. I was in a deli on GJ duty break and a 20 something white woman comes in and real nasty says “you’re out of SALAD?!”
they said yeah, but they had other stuff.
She said “NO, I NEED PROTEIN!!”
and she stormed out.
I asked the counter person what kind of salad has protein, and they said she was a regular looking for tuna salad.

Step 3: Eliminating God’s Word in the Bible as it will be “hate speech”
I think nearly every American has always believed that one marriage is as valid as the next.
But redefining marriage is not 'equality' in theory or practice. And browbeating people until they give the desired answer in a poll is not the same thing as 'support.'
Moreover, intellectually grasping these concepts and writing about same is not 'homophobia.' It's logic.
