Yup. Glad it raised that kinda cash but Damn. That design could have been done better IMO. I get the flag and the Punisher skull. The elements are fine but there’s something about it that doesn’t look ‘Punishing” they way they did it.

Jackson did some seriously cool WW2 fighter plane’ and other military designs in the past though.

I remember from back in the ‘80s a picture of Amir Derakh of Rough Cutt with a Jackson doubleneck painted up like a P40.

Thats one of them. He had 3 or 4 in various schemes including a Messerschmit he caught hell over IIRC. Scott Ian of Anthrax had one and a couple others as well. They were custom shop jobs but they did some production models as well. No doublenecks though.

I have to suffer with a mere Charvel Model 5FX in Firecrackle...woe is me ;)

You should have seen the freakout on the music boards when Barry pulled his banana Republic BS with the wood deal. Of were the lib musicians offended that Gibson dared use wood in the production of guitars that they had been for about 50 years. CRIMINALS!!!! Gaia haters!!! Well, they would never by another Gibson EVER!!!

I miss the one Gibson I ever had.
