Because when you’re famous there will be a rumor mill anytime either of them is seen with somebody else. Announce it’s over and that goes away. Life in the paparazzi glare has certain nuisances.
Yes, there are things I didn’t think about....this whole thing is a long way off my radar. But now I know. I agree with you...best to get it over with.
