It’s not just Utah. Texas is becoming more liberal also.
In fact I can’t think of a state which is becoming more conservative.
Sad point!
You uttered a most salient fact right there, as we contemplate who will become President in the next election.
No kidding!
The cities (Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio) are rotting from the inside out from liberalism.
We've been infiltrated, subverted and betrayed.
It will be just a matter of which state can hold out the longest.
More liberal than the '60s and '70s when LBJs boys were in charge?
I don't think so.
I'm seeing Texas get more conservative as time goes on.

“Its not just Utah. Texas is becoming more liberal also.”
In your dreams, maybe. How about the fact that the MOST CONSERVATIVE slate ever won by 20 points in 2014? Every damn statewide race. Just because we have more Hispanics DOES NOT mean we are voting more liberal...in fact just the opposite is now happening in Texas.
“Its not just Utah. Texas is becoming more liberal also.
In fact I cant think of a state which is becoming more conservative.”
Yet Reagan expanded conservatism in America.
He had the knowledge, skill to explain it in ways which made the philosophy attractive.
Sadly I do not get the same sense in our political system these days.
A few of the candidates have bits and pieces, but nobody puts it all together.
They each tend to preach to their own little safe choir.
