LESBIAN COUPLE ACCUSES CHRISTIAN BAKERS OF MENTAL RAPE, AWARDED $135,000
An Oregon judge has awarded Lesbian couple Rachel and Laurel Bowman-Cryer $135,000 for emotional damages in a lawsuit against Aaron and Melissa Klein of Sweet Cakes Bakery. They are a Christian couple who declined to provide a wedding cake to the same-sex couple in 2013.
In their lawsuit, the two women claimed they felt mentally raped, as part of a list of 88 symptoms of emotional distress they experienced at being refused a cake.
The long list of symptoms included acute loss of confidence, doubt, excessive sleep, felt mentally raped, dirty and shameful, high blood pressure, impaired digestion, loss of appetite, migraine headaches, pale and sick at home after work, resumption of smoking habit, shock, stunned, surprise, uncertainty, weight gain and worry.
The judge apparently found it unremarkable that loss of appetite and impaired digestion should lead to weight gain.
[T]he forum concludes that $75,000 and $60,000, are appropriate awards to compensate for the emotional suffering they experienced, wrote Alan McCullough, administrative law judge for Oregons Bureau of Labor and Industries, in his proposed order.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"
so if you get refused for any and everything you can sue now ?
How many of those symptoms are on the cdc website as part of the normal risk of being homosexual?
Why are homosexuals such drama queens??? Sheesh.....
All this anguish over a wedding cake??? Really?????
And such severe legal penalties over a wedding cake???
It would be interesting to see what would happen if these two dykes walked into a Mosque and demanded the Mullah marry them. Yeah I’m sure they would get $135K when he refused, NOT. This is just flat out persecution of Christians, it really it. You never read about them going after Jewish or Islamic businesses.
Heifers in Heat wail over loss of self-worth when refused cake service
I am to the point of going scorched earth on something like this if it ever happened to me. I would torch the house, business and all assets that they could possibly seize and tell them to come and get what they want. Kids are all grown and I have a stash of what I need and would work for cash as needed.

what if ALL businesses that didn’t want to serve a dike or fruit wedding made their intentions public all at once. kind of an overwhelming factor.
I keep seeing this article on here over and over with no suggestions as to what to do besides fund 4000 gofundme’s and get an ulcer.
no, I don’t have the answer
#1 Imagine how they would have felt if they had asked a mooslem bakery?
#2 Mentally raped? Could that be considered WISHFUL THINKING?
We need to take a slightly different tact in fighting this. Instead of centering on the gay couple, focus on the fact that we would not serve that product to a straight couple either. A wedding and a gay conjugation are not the same thing.
Anyone can file a suit against anyone for anything. It's always been that way.
Whether it gets dismissed...as this suit should have been...or not is up to the judge. Oregon clearly has some mentally defective judges.
It’s time to start thinking about the obvious.
These gays have names and addresses.
Why, oh why, are they not afraid to go to sleep?
Really.
This will stop when we start making them worry as much as those straights they choose to torture.
Just wondering.
Problem here is that this is a court decision, not legislative. The problem with that clause is that as soon as Congress tries to “affirm” it through legislation, the militant homosexuals come out of the woodwork claiming discrimination.
Sounds like some groups can really cash in with the judicial lottery.
I agree. The judges who legislate from the bench and create this nonsense should be removed from their jobs. While I won’t encourage it, I will say that if something unfortunate befell these judicial tyrants I would not shed one single tear.
To the contrary, I’d celebrate by baking a nice cake!
