i really liked cruz, he had my backing..
when the chips were down, he took his toys and went home..
no way to put a positive spin on that..

You’re way off base on Cruz. He was the ONLY senator fighting against the cloture vote for weeks. Do some research and get Ted’s explanation of what unfolded. He COULDNT be there for the final vote, everyone already knew it wouldn’t matter and when you aren’t present it IS considered a NO vote.
To say Cruz isn’t a fighter is just ridiculous.
