I never realized what a faux pas I was committing by drinking my Boonesfarm apple wine straight from the bottle. Now I know better.
Yeah, that’s sort of my manifesto, too. But a glass of chianti is best imbibed while settled in a comfy armchair next to a dying fire in the fireplace, cats by my feet, dog in her bed next to my chair. Who wants conversation at a time like that!
Beer is normally chilled in order to distinguish it from horse piss.
That doesn’t work with Keystone Lite.

...don’t cherrypick. There are lots of verses that depict alcohol as good. Reconcile them, don’t ignore them.
Bad beer must be chilled.
GOOD beer is good. As a 35 year lifetime teetotaler, I’d heard much of how beer was an “acquired taste”. Then I started drinking beer, in Bavaria...oh, how delicious it was, how satisfying to the soul. Then I returned to the USA, and lamented how bad domestic “beer” is.
Drinking alone, I am unencumbered by the distractions of others and their subtle biases. Drinking alone, I can enjoy a good handcrafted beverage as I see fit and to my own independent satisfaction and focus. Oh look, my bourbon is now properly chilled...
Yes. Medicinal purpose, not beverage.
Medicinal use.
Not cherry picking. There is a use for alcohol. Medicinal physically and for depression. Lots of warnings against alcohol abuse as well.

As I sit here and enjoy a very nice blended red wine from Argentina...all by myself.
