Just a quick note there is a (serious but no tornado) just now hitting Ft. Worth, heading for Dallas.
It is however very fast-moving, so it won't last long.

Yep. I’m looking at it on satellite feed. A piece of it came thru Kerrville about 4 this morning and the thunder made my cat jump right in my mid-section. A fairly rude awakening but it let me know i’m still alive. ;o) Stay safe!
One such storm brought down an L1011 at DFW when I was living in Dallas in 1985, Delta flight 191. Microburst wind shear. Between those kinds of storms and the winter heavy ice and Dallas drivers on the freeways I don’t mind living in the Great Lakes region now.

These kinds of storms didn’t happen when Obama was President.
Not when he’s just about ready to tee off, anyway.

When a horrible tornado leveled Joplin, Missouri years ago, Obama didn’t give them a glance. Too many white people there (though it was a peaceful, multiracial/culture city).

It’s been years since we’ve seen this much rain. After the past few years, Texas certainly needs all we can get. Our tank is at last full, but do look forward to a few days of sunshine soon. No high winds here...just north of Frisco....but buckets and buckets of rain. Perhaps BO-Rock’s water carriers might be persuaded to help with the clean up.
