It should have been obvious to a vet that it wasn't a feral cat. It was too healthy and well fed.

No kidding. If someone who worked at my vet posted a picture like that, I would find another one posthaste, and also let them know why.
Her employer would have been foolish not to fire her. Why not just burn the business to the ground instead, for God’s sake?
