You own it, why can you not tweak it?

If you do tweak it, do you have to disclose it if you sell the car? Is there a way to restore it back to factory settings?

That is why I included, "must disclose to buyer".

If is is just messing with the software then yes it can be restored. If it was a hardware tweak then possibly not.
