ECM went out on my 02 Dodge....450 for a rebuilt...700 for a dealer. My next truck will be a non-millennial. Preferably 70’s vintage.

Same here... for the headlights on my '04 Ram 2500, some brainiac kid engineer replaced fuses and relays with $700 of integrated circuits, 27 pin connectors and PCBs.

Headlight was out (allegedly) on account of a burned pin, and yet no mechanic would simply use a pin puller and FIX IT. I was so pissed off... I am glad I kept my '91 Jetta diesel with 315k on it... everything on that car I can fix myself.
