The Windows 8 Metro GUI is neither here nor there. Did you install a start button or are you just complaining for the sake of complaining?

Not complaining for the sake of complaining... i backed out win 8...fyi im a network engineer with 35 years in IT... i uses more then a few OS’s and run multiple boxes with different operating systems right now and multiple VM’s on my business laptop for test. IMO win 8 GUI way a major step backwards..its was a dumbing down of the GUI..and really it was Microsoft trying to jam its customers into their new consumer idea..it was crapping on the business customer and MS deserve to get their butts kicked on it

...I have a real hard time with any software that tries to "force me" to do it their way.....the box the program are to be the servant not the master..
