We all knew this was coming. If the standards are too tough for women, then lower the standards.
Creating a special “female” standard is how they got them in the military in the first place.
When this took off in the early 1970s the first problem the military faced was having to find out what females couldn’t do, and find out what they could do. so that they could create a “female” standard for them.
It was trial and error, the females could not use the male standard of course, that was a given from day one, so they had to first keep dumbing down the standards until they could reach the level of what women could pass, and then they could write an official standard for them.
