People supporting pot "legalization" are delusional.

Drugs like this DESTROY peoples' lives.

Period.

Eventually, when a "critical mass" of a nation's population is rendered incoherent (like voting for dupes like Obama) ...

the nation is FUBAR.

The worst part is that the "Dopers" have a false sense of "entitlement".

The nation is on it's death bed.

Does this sound like America in 2015 ?

Yes.

So don't hand me the "crap" about how legalizing pot is "good" for America, or any other nation that genuinely wishes a successful future.

"Stoners" do NOT make the "best" engineers, scientists, airplane pilots, doctors, lawyers, etc.

For that reason ... countries like China and India WILL NEVER "liberalize" their drug laws, because the end result is called "national poverty", followed by political "enslavement".

Of course, "Stoners" are already "slaves" of the herb, so what difference does it make ?

Ever read about China's "Opium Wars" ?

Stoners' Clue Number One: The "Opium Wars" were never published as a Marvel comic book series.

Do you even have a freakin' clue as to WHY China courageously fought a war against "technological giants" such as England and France ?

It was because, dear "Stoner Flower Child", China's future (tens of millions of brain-adled opium addicts) was being DESTROYED by England's opium imports.

Think of "freely legal" pot and opium as the national economic equivalent of the Black Death and Ebola.

Frankly, "free pot" Stoner Libertarians are a pretty pathetic lot.

The only reason you "clowns" have the "economic luxury" of campaigning for "legalized drugs" in 2015 is that TEN generations of Americans worked their asses off ... saved money ... built a nation ... all pretty much in a "no legal drugs" world.

Sure, alcohol has always been around.

But smoking pot and heroine DESTROY minds and "cognitive ability".

Please take your "childish moonbeam" wishes to legalize pot to another country, and STOP trying to FUBAR the United States of America (where my grandchildren live).

Any questions ?

"Any questions ? "

I've got one. So it's bad for you AND it's a stupid thing to do. If that is the basis of your argument, how does that give congress or even the states the power to criminalize it? This is no different than the tobacco wars, just as one example. Americans, even those who consider themselves conservative, have been indoctrinated to a point where they believe it is acceptable to force others to comply with their ideals.. or decide what is or is not good for them. I think most dopers are idiots. So what? That doesn't mean I think I should be able to have a say in what they smoke at home. Maybe I also think they shouldn't be drinking soda, getting fat and signing up for disability. Does it matter what I think? Hell no it doesn't. You would agree with Bloomberg banning soft drinks? If we are to have convictions, they should be pure, not conditional.

Exactly wrong - for most of those ten generations there were no laws against drugs.

Please take your "childish moonbeam" wishes to legalize pot to another country, and STOP trying to FUBAR the United States of America (where my grandchildren live).

Pot criminalization is failing your grandchildren; teens have been reporting for years that they can get pot more easily than cigarettes or beer - which stands to reason, since only sellers of legal goods have incentive to 'card' buyers.
