Wouldn't it be nice if the article cited witnesses? Maybe it happened like they say, maybe they just panicked. There sure are a lot people that just drop a load in their pants at mere sight of or even just the words Pit Bull.

Witnesses lie, but forensic evidence doesn’t.
It would have been good journalism (if there is such a thing) for the article to reference the injuries sustained by the woman’s dog.
Having said that, if it really was a bad dog I would have shot it myself.
