I visited Casablanca with my family in 1953, I was very small but I have vivid pictures in my head. It was truly a white city. All the masonry was white and all the clothing, too, mostly burnooses. The one or two western style suits were even white.
Istanbul was a wonderful place in the 1950s. In those days the Turks thought Americans walked on water. Many of the urban middle class, and there is a fairly large one, still loves everything American but they are very quiet now.
That's my guess. Transporting whatever people and materials Obama and his followers want in our country to harm America.
I had several family members make the same trip back then. They enjoyed the experience of visiting somewhere so different and exotic.
Ah yes, the 1950's. When one traveled to exotic places where Americans were respected, or read about primitive, but quaint and colorful natives in the Kodakrome pages of the National Geographic, before the NGS went all Green/Marxist.
Now, those very same quaint and colorful natives riot and defecate in the gutters of our formerly quaint and colorful New England towns, where they live at our great inconvenience and massive expense.
This is called "Progress."
