WXAN reports Austin City Council members debated a plan earlier this month to put restrictions on smoke from barbecue restaurants.
Council member Pio Renteria asked council to regulate the amount of smoke that comes from food trucks and restaurants within 100 feet of residential areas.
Renteria said residents complained to him that smoke coming from BBQ joints caused them to not be able to open their windows or enjoy their backyards.

I thought they are limited to cities, where the libs typically infest? The only statewide smoking ban there is in Texas is in “activities of public schools”.

I’m not a resident of Texas, so you may be correct. However, my sentiment remains.

The libs really must figure that Austin will never slip out of their grasp if they are pushing for that.
I an a native Texan, at least 3rd generation on my Dad’s side.
I put ketchup, mayo (or salad dressing), chili, cheese, jalapenos on my hot dog.
Mustard is the devil’s condiment.
Are they looney? Many folks would pay to have such smells cross their property. When my neighbor grills out I sit out back to just smell the meat sizzling on the grill.
