Having seen a George Lucas film or two before this one, the preview, in spite of JJ’s direction, seems more of the same ol’ stuff only with newer CGI and a much much older Hans.
(Can Hans REALLY fly one of those without crashing onto a golf course? I doubt it.)

Three, three movie segments. 4, 5 and 6 to be the Rebellion...followed by 1, 2 and 3 to be the Clone Wars...with 7, 8 and 9 to be the further adventures of Luke Skywalker and his friends.
This was George's vision. I heard Lucas say this decades ago. He apparently grew tired of the whole mess but did decide to let someone else pick up the mantel. For a tidy sum I'm sure.
