WalMart closings alert!
vanity | 4-16-2015 | chuckles

Posted on 04/15/2015 10:19:20 PM PDT by chuckles

I live in East Texas and our WalMart closed due to "plumbing" problems. All employees are fired. closed for at least 6 months.

Come to find out, several more closed across America due to "plumbing" problems and all employees fired.

Googled closed Walmart and got several different theories. One says they need to close some to pay for the huge raise they gave the rest of the workers. One says it's for holding illegals crossing the border. Another says it for American that don't want Obama's 3rd term.

Second observation today,.....A military jet fuel truck came into my small East Texas town today and ended up out at the airport. We have no jets,.....yet. The next open Walmart says they have plumbing problems, but as of yet it's still open.If they close it, we have no place to get food for this many people unless the Brookshire Brothers doubles in size.

This just came about today, so that's all I have as thin as it is, but I know the preppers in my church are getting nervous.

Does anybody out there know anything I need to know?

Plumbing as an excuse for avoiding 60 days notice

**************

Then why are they offering jobs at other locations or 60 days pay?

Walmart will reopen the store as soon as all the plumbing issues are resolved,
Hennenberg said. The closure affects 400 full and part-time employees. Some are
being offered jobs at other stores, others will receive paychecks for two
months and then severance payments will kick in.

Well, as a get around, we use Amazon for almost all of our staples - paper goods and such. that is an option until someone fills the gap.

grocery/produce will be harder. maybe someone will jump in and get going right away.

A Wal-Mart official said Tuesday that more than 100 plumbing issues
plagued the north Midland Wal-Mart location over the last two years and
that repeated attempts to fix them failed.

A Wal-Mart official told the Reporter-Telegram that the company usually
gives more advance notice to its employees about a store closure. But he
said that the 60 days pay that the company is giving employees who are
not transferred is in lieu of that notice.

“There is just a couple of cops blocking the doors.”

In that case, it’s very possible they’re treating this as a crime scene before proceeding with repairs. Not sure why cops would be there otherwise simply for the temporary closing of a private business. Businesses close abruptly here all the time and no cops stationed at the doors.

“I think if one of their stores was damaged in a hurricane, they could get it bulbozed and rebuild the whole thing in a month.”

I’ve watched several Walmarts be built in the area, and it takes several months to construct, stock, train, and open,

The fastest a walmart has been constructed is 4 months. It takes about a year to build a store from the dirt up.

yeah, that’s my recollection, but didn’t want to say that because I wasn’t sure.

I work for an engineering company. Last year we had a project to design/build a railroad loading and unloading facility at an “undisclosed location” in that could support a 100 car train.

Only thing I know about the location is that it is in Louisiana.

It was in a comment thread at another site, sorry I can’t corroborate. I’ve seen a reference to six store as well...

Alright. I’ve got my pet theory.

I thing that something very bad happened at those five stores - like terrorist bad.

Not a threat. A threat wouldn’t see the stores closed for six months. They’d only be closed while there was a threat.

No. I think that it’s something that’s going to require big time decontamination.

The government would be keen to keep this quiet to avoid panic.

I don’t think this has a darn thing to do with internment camps or housing illegals. There are many more practical options than shutting down million-dollar-a-week supercenters. (The Bell County Expo center comes to mind. Massive. Covered. Controlled exits. Much more isolated than a Walmart. I’m sure that there are stadiums that would fit the bill.)

I don’t think it has anything to do with the Jade Helm exercise. Again, there are other places to stage whatever that wouldn’t involve laying off 2,000 people and completely upsetting these local economies.

With the process of elimination, the stores being affected by some sort of contamination via terrorist attack is the only thing that I can come up with that would cause them to suddenly shut down and lie about it.

This would also explain why DHS vehicles are hanging around.

Well,....I could be wrong, but I would guess Ft Polk La. Close second might be Ft. Sam in San Antonio.

Your thoughts are GREAT!!!

Furthermore, it may be a case of utterly unintended ‘terrorism’. Remember, Walmart is a big customer of Chinese manufacturing. If something really bad got into the supply stream by accident, they’d be behaving like this, too.
