“I know hundreds of retired cops in their 60’s and 70’s”
Became a peace Officer in the early 70’s and went reserve 5 1/2 years later and still carry my certification and carry a reserve badge with the SO. It’s been over 40 years and I’ve been through 4 Sheriff’s and I still don’t know hundreds of retired officers or deputies let alone have conversations with them.
I am in a very unusual line of work where I meet and see them every single day, and have for over 30 years.
