Stringer is accused of grabbing Ramiro James Villegas head and touching his feet as he lay dead on a gurney, the Bakersfield Californian reported. He reportedly told another officer that he loves playing with dead bodies, the newspaper reported.
A trainee apparently was so disturbed by Stringers comments that she reported it to her superiors, said attorney Mark Geragos, who is representing Villegas family in a claim against the department.

The dead man’s civil rights were obviously violated and his family is due millions.
All because he didn’t toe the line....
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
It sort of reminds me of the gif graphic often posted of Che's corpse being tickled by a Bolivian soldier.
Why doesn't just work at a mortuary then like all the other people who like to do this?
A perennial favorite.
You can say that again.
Lol
Ramiro is worth much dead than alive
In the eyes of the law — the handling corpses is a ticklish subject.
This is one of the most bizarre police abuse stories I’ve ever heard of. Tickling the dead. It would serve him right if one of the ‘corpses’ he was playing with turned out to be in a coma, that he tickled them out of. That might scare him enough to stop. Who knows how common this is or how long he was doing it. Notice, it took a female job trainee to become upset enough to report his behavior.
Sounds like gallows humor of the type people adapt when often exposed to destruction. Some people do that to cope with the stress.
Did the dead man jump?
Tickling is just silly. I’ve always found that pink bellies are more evil and torturous. Hmmm... Can a dead person get a pink belly?
Came for the Che pic, goes away happy.
Hubby was a firefighter for 33 yrs. gallows humor is right and people not in the biz just don’t get it. It’s their way of dealing with horrible crap all day every day.
Exactly. You get it. Too bad this officer’s fellow police woman didn’t.
If they had heard some of the things that hubby and crew said I guess they would’ve been fired and sued.
I wouldn’t even tell someone not in the profession some of the things I’ve heard but after 33 yrs hubby is still sane (kind of) lol and the rest of his crew is still working except a couple who have also retired.
