My movies aren’t skipping anymore, either.

My movies aren’t skipping anymore, either. Sounds most like the man-in-middle-attack. . . an intercept of the download attempt by a spoofed website pretending to be Apple's update server between your iTunes and Apple's real update server to inject a malicious version.
