I remember when the govt gave free peanut butter as a protein supplement. People sold their five-pound unmarked cans. It was thick and dry but tasty enough.

govt gave free peanut butter....missed that but I did sample 'free' govt cheese....and had the same result.

Whip in the butter, you get with the peanut butter and it is great. I worked in a YWCA girls summer camp and we got all the USDA food, the cheese was excellent.
