Use to use it on saddles, bridles, halters, etc.....they still sell it.
As for the WD40, it really works removing crayon. You would think it would leave the wall greasy looking but it doesn’t.
I use it for that, too.
Ever use lye solution to clean files and rotary cutters that have gotten packed with aluminum?

Have heard of it being used to spray on fish bait. I believe it was illegal in Oregon for sturgeon fishing years ago when I lived there.
I've got several pints of it for my softball gloves.......With that being said, most glove manufacturers are advising against the over use of it since it doesn't evaporate and only increases the weight of the glove........Same thing with Vaseline.........
If you're going to use anything on your ball gloves then let it be saddle soap for the occasional cleaning of your glove.........
