You even bring your APPLE-HATER TROLLING over here, too! You’re a USELESS poster here on Free Republic.

And, by the way, it is an Apple App, too ... LOL ...

It looks good. You choose photo, document or whiteboard when you scan, and then I can save to OneNote, OneDrive, or as a word, powerpoint, pdf, attach to an email, or save to my photos. The key to whether it will be the one I use is whether it is good at recognizing the dimensions of the document or picture I am scanning. So far, I like it.

This Microsoft app, which is also available as an Apple app, at the Apple App Store, has a LOT of other apps, doing the same thing, as this app referenced here.

For the iPhone and iPad users, looking at this and wanting to see what else is “out there” for them, you can look at the following article, although it does NOT show all the available apps for this, at the Apple App Store ...

In regards to the iPhone and iPad users, just searching through “AppZapp” (mentioned above) for PDF scanners, they list almost FIFTY APPS at the Apple App Store, doing that!

...anyone have a good android app for scanning upc codes of foods? For inventory.

Not sure if it helps but we use an app called "Out of Milk" for a shared shopping list with a very good scanning feature. If one wanted to, they could use the Pantry feature for inventory. You can even set up multiple pantries.

I use and like Bing maps, too. I don’t use Google for anything - too many privacy issues IMHO plus they’re closely linked with the WH and Obama (per various articles on FR); and, I like the pictures on Bing.com - nice as well as educational (links in little squares where one can learn more) - my just turned teen nephew enjoys them as well (he taught me a few years ago that you can view previous pictures and links if you missed a day or more).

I have a Windows phone, and the Office Lens app is wonderful.

I know this is off-topic but what I DON’T like is that Bank of America no longer offers a Windows app. I used to be able to do most of my banking via the B of A app; I could deposit checks and make credit card payments. Now, without the app I need to go to the ATM for all of the above.

Apparently Chase HAD a Windows app but they discontinued theirs also.
