The guys is a putz but I think a reasonable question is why they drive the truck there and why it takes more than one man to shop? Couldn’t one man just go with a list in a different vehicle.

If there was a fire or other emergency it would seem much more efficient to have the truck and all but one man (who is shopping) at the station and ready to go. The man shopping could simply be contacted and meet them.

My son is a volunteer firefighter. They take trucks out in this neck of the woods, to keep them started and moved. So the trucks goes out on all the errands.
