Walk away... It will heal itself.
Nailed it. Decrapio is our new mafia class, building a posh resort (and possibly casino) under 'environmental' pretenses. We are so far through the looking glass it ain't funny.

If Algore can make millions off enviro nonsense why not Leonardo? Too bad Tatoo is no longer around to welcome guests.

If he really wants a challenge, he could try to clean up Belize City. AMEN to that!
There is a group from the States who goes to Belize City each year to build better shelter for the slum dwellers. These are 16' x 16' wood homes, raised about 12" above the low-lying ground surface.
If DiCaprio would invest 10% of the cost of his Eco-paradise into these slums, he could build far better homes for these folks. He could also renovate 5 or 10 times as much land and 20 to 100 times the people.

Kind of like a developer not filling in a pond, then razing a hundred acres of cheap pulte like houses.

I'm not sure what Gilbert Grape is doing here, so I found this huge manatee with moonbat wings breathing fire.

Yup. He’s putting his money where his mouth is, and not demanding that ‘we’ pay for it. (At least in this instance). That is where I generally part company with the libs. I mean someone like Al Gore flies around in his private jet, has an air conditioned horse barn, has several residences and leaves a carbon footprint that you can see from space. Then Al Gore expects ‘us’ to ‘clean’ it all up. Big difference.

I have tendered into Belize City a few times, it is long, boring and at times rough.

To people who live on a 20_25 foot lot, 105 acres probably sounds like a big space.....but it’s not.

Agree. I’m on 24 acres but it isn’t big enough. I wanted 200 + with the house smack in the middle. But I couldn’t get the spousal unit to live any more remote than we are.

We own a 2000+ ranch in Texas but that is only a speck compared to 200,000 acre Texas ranches.
I have cousins in Missoula, where are you?

According to Google Earth, the island is 2 miles long by 500 feet at its’ widest part.

I wonder how much of that is beach sand? Does that figure out to be 104 acres?
