Maybe something was lost in translation but the so called new bomber is just an updated Chinese version of the Soviet twin engined Badger. The Badger was a design from the 1950s.

Long range bombers? Those are essentially modern versions of the very old Tupolev Tu-16, a bomber with an operational radius--at best!--even lower than the old B-47E's.
