Its a Smart TV. Of course a consumer that paid extra for a TV set with additional functionality would want to use the “good features” but in this situation Samsung is forcing them to give up their privacy to use them. Its designed like a lobster trap; one way in; no way out unless you pay the price. There will be a price that Samsung will pay somewhere for this; either a lawsuit, paying the programmers to rewrite and code the software or loss of sales revenue. Choose one.
