I find it entertaining. I am an insurance claims adjuster in the middle of spring break in Panama City. Haven’t you been watching Hannity? Those Walking Dead stinking zombies are enjoyment for me after claims about balcony falls, beer pong, funnel drinking, ruffie date rape, bath salts and runover pedestrians. And now we got great white sharks skimming our beaches. Never had them spotted around here that I ever recall. Give me a break, I need some escapism.
Early in the series, the writers weren’t quite sure what level of ability they wanted the walkers to have. In a slightly later first season episode, Rick, etc. are trapped in an Atlanta department store, and a walker throws a rock through the glass to get at them. That wouldn’t happen now.

Does Deanna eerily remind anyone of Hillary?
A few weeks ago I saw a WD blog that under “Trivia” that said that Deanna’s character was based on a Hillary type congresswoman.

Deanna has a side that she is trying to hide. The actress who plays her is very good.
You know I disliked her immediately and I think its because she reminds me of Hillary. Gaaaaaaaaa.
Walkers have regressed since season one. Remember in Atlanta they were throwing concrete blocks into department store Windows and climbing twenty flights of stairs

I forgot about them doing that at the store. But I remember Morgan’s walker wife trying the door knob.

I can see why some here have a little trouble with the show.
At the same time, like you my thinking is, if they don’t like the show “The Walking Dead” they can save the preaching for church, don’t watch the show and stay away from the Walking Dead threads. In other words, “Butt out.” (Them, not you.)
I wonder if TWD will have a character based on The Usurper
