Hmm, wearing safety gear on a typically deserted stretch of road with a follow van and another (for lack of a better term) participant. Seems to be lacking the typical 'hold my beer' required for a proper Darwinian winner.
Glendora Mountain Road was closed to cars for nearly two years there, and has become a favorite with bicycle clubs, joggers and hikers. Weekday traffic from 9am to 3pm could likely be counted on a single hand.
