zone 6
All my onion seedlings died in a week after I took the plastic cover off the starter tray because they needed the room.
Last week I tilled a section of the garden and planted seeds. Hope I get some onions.
Also planted ‘Mammoth Melting Sugar’ peas and some leftover seeds.
Daffodils are blooming here.

Oh no! I am just getting ready to start some onion seeds indoors. A first. We usually just get sets from Walmart or the grocery store.

We have traditionally been zone 5, and don’t have any spring blooms yet other than the invasive mint that is green all winter. The new USDA chart that came out a couple of years back said that we were now zone 6, but then the winters instantly got worse, so I still go by zone 5, and if possible get plants that will take zone 4.
