Hillary Clinton Remains 2016 Frontrunner Despite Email Controversy

Hillary Clinton's favorability rating has taken a hit amid the controversy over her use of personal email while Secretary of State, but the results of a CNN/ORC International poll suggest that she remains the frontrunner in the 2016 presidential election.

The poll found that 53 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Clinton, down from 59 percent in a poll conducted last November.

The percentage of Americans that have an unfavorable opinion of the former Secretary of State has also risen to 44 percent from 38 percent.

Additionally, fifty-one percent of Americans said Clinton did something wrong by using a personal emailaddress while she served as Secretary of State compared to the 47 percent that said she did not do anything wrong.

Clinton has claimed that her decision to use a personal email account was made strictly on the basis of convenience but acknowledged that hindsight suggests it would have been better to use two separate phones and two separate accounts.

The former First Lady has said she will not allow an outside observer to access her server, noting that it contains personal communications.

The CNN/ORC poll found that 51 percent of Americans think Clinton has not done enough to explain why she used a private email system.

As mentioned above, however, Clinton remains the clear frontrunner to secure the Democratic nomination for president.

The poll found that 62 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents would vote for Clinton in the Democratic primary.

Vice President Joe Biden comes in a distant second at 15 percent, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., at 10 percent. The other potential Democratic candidates have support in the low single digits.

Clinton also continues to perform well in potential general election matchups, leading all of her possible Republican challengers by double-digits.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ken., performs best against Clinton but still trails the former Secretary of State by 43 percent to 54 percent.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker match up equally against Clinton, with each trailing by 40 percent to 55 percent.

The poll showed Bush and Walker as the top two choices for the Republican nomination at 16 percent and 13 percent, respectively. Another 12 percent favor Paul, while 10 percent support former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

The CNN/ORC survey of 1,009 adults was conducted March 13th through 15th and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

We've got to keep the pressure on Hillary. The one thing voters understand the most is that Hillary is ugly. If we can get Bill on the defense over Hillary's looks, that might bring them both down.

The idea she is up double digits is laughable.

Have decided that if polled, my response will be, “ I’d like Hillary...” (The rest of the sentence is, “...to lose in a landslide,” but they don’t have to know that.). Keep them happy and complacent, and spring the trap on Election Night, as Bibi’s voters did.

“The poll found that 53 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Clinton, down from 59 percent in a poll conducted last November.”

“The percentage of Americans that have an unfavorable opinion of the former Secretary of State has also risen to 44 percent from 38 percent.”

The trend is our friend. Her numbers are going down while she had been away from the cameras. The more the public sees of that old hag the lower she will go.

Not surprised at all about this. Look at all the crap Obama pulled during his first term, and he got re-elected. If Hillary is elected POTUS, we might as well throw in the towel and forget it.

Lemme guess, the same polling firm that claimed the Israeli election was going to be a squeaker did this Hillary poll, right?

Are these the same polls that had Bibi losing?
Is anyone still falling for this?

The Flying Buttress soars ever onward, for who can oppose her?

Sure seems that way if Jeb Bush is her opponent.

There's that number again.

The left doesn’t care what she did - secretly they probably wish they could have gotten away with it too.

Remember, the left loves cheaters, crooks and liars - because that’s what they are too.

If you asked the same people who is vice president, you would not get that high a response rate. Only two per cent did not have an opinion or knew nothing about that situation? Nonsense.

I hope so. It means there will be more hit jobs on Hillary ordered by Valerie Jarrett. Does anyone believe the email server was the only hand that the Obama crime family can play against her? Look for more news reports to surface soon about foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation during Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State. There may also be some revelations about Bill's trips to Fantasy Island.

She has designs on staying where she is at.
She and Hillary, both alpha psychos, hate each other.
I think Jarret will release more info on Hillary hoping it will hurt her.
