I'm close to turning off my commuter's auto spell checker because it is always substituting words that I didn't type to begin with. Editing is a nightmare nowadays. Life's tough in the fast lane I guess. :-)

Now I must tell you how very impressed I am that you have a spellchecker on your commuter. When it comes to work most people ARE a commuter. But, you, you have a spellchecker on your commuter.

I think you mean you do your spell checking while commuting. Either way that's cool.

And you're absolutely right for shutting off your spell checker. Despite, the brilliant accuracy of spellcheckers to immediately detect improperly spelled words, they are absolutely, positively clueless when it comes to getting the proper homonym to match up and very often, despite the perfect spelling the grammar ends up paying the price for the spell checker's ineptitude.
