March 15, 2015 LGBT Groups March in Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade
BOSTON - Boston's St. Patrick's Day parade made history Sunday as two gay and lesbian groups marched after decades of opposition that went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The gay military veterans service group OutVets and gay rights group Boston Pride joined the annual celebration of military veterans and Irish heritage at the invitation of the sponsoring South Boston Allied War Veterans Council.
"We march today for the memories of those thousands and thousands of people who went before us, some who went to their graves in the closet," OutVets founder and leader and Air Force veteran Bryan Bishop told his group before the parade. He called it "the beginning of the mission of this organization to honor the service and sacrifice of every single LGBT veteran, their family, their allies and every veteran in this country who fought so selflessly to defend the rights that we hold dear."
Sarah Jo Gomez-Lorraine, a Naval officer and OutVets member taking part in the march, said it's an honor to represent gay veterans who never got the opportunity to come out.

Anything for attention.
If they’re marching for gay vets it doesn’t bother me like it does the gaystapo and drag queen variety. At least they put their “a$$” on the for omething other than sex...
This parade has devolved into a neo pagan drunken orgy. It has nothing to do with saintliness. The vile organizers even positioned the gay marchers behind cub scout contingents.
Time to scrub it altogether.
Good thing I hate Heineken and Guinness beer. They both threatened to pull their sponsorship if they didn’t include homosexual groups in the parade. Won’t be difficult for me to never drink their beers again because I hated both of them.
St. Patricks day parade a long ago quaint tradition which has seen its best days....
there will be no Heineken in this house for the rest of my life...same for Guinness....

Immoral people (LTGB) trying to impose their morals on others pretty much ruin everything.
So did the Knights of Columbus not march?
“Time to scrub it altogether.”
I disagree. It is time for the traditional groups to pull out entirely and form their own parade, a more low key affair.
The other parade will eventually die from lack of a core.
Disagree.. the fag patrol has gotten far worse for the military under Obama and a fag is a fag period regardless.
Nothing would dissuade these prancing deviates more than uproarious laughter from the spectators as they mince along the parade route.
Something to consider for next year...
Erin goes braless.....nor does she shave her pits
Gaelic has a new meaning
Gerald Fitzpatrick and Patrick Fitzgerald
Will they allow my HETEROSEXUAL PRIDE group to march? Or my other group, the MISSIONARY POSITION group? Or should we ask under the DOGGIE STYLE group name?????
The Knights of Columbus did not march, nor will we in the future. The Saint Patrick Float was also pulled from the parade. There will be a Mass tomorrow at Holy Cross Cathedral. The KOC web-site is referring to the parade as the Evacuation Day Parade. This is how the hacks in Suffolk County get the day off.
