I have been a Jeopardy fan since when Art Fleming was host. I never got the impression that it was anything but totally on the up and up.
Now I think they are putting their thumbs on the scale. Maybe not just plain cheating but having the categories and questions/answers slanted to help certain contestants.

I agree. In addition the questions are sometimes heavy with leftist bias toward certain subjects.
And I despise Alex Trebeck! He could earn a lot of money for his favorite charity by allowing people to slap his smug face at $1/smack.
