Agreed.
I’ve seen martial arts demonstrations “showing” that it’s possible to slap a gun out of the hand of a mugger before the mugger can pull the trigger.
But you better know what you’re doing, you better be able to actually knock the gun out of the mugger’s hand and send it some distance away AND be prepared to either take down the mugger physically or get away from the situation before he can retrieve the gun.
