Formerly the "Quinn and Rose Morning Show" thread, our friendly group continues to meet to start the day as we await the return of our favorite morning talk show - possibly sometime this month! So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

I was at the Springs Folk Fest last October. It is held in southern Somerset Co just across the PA border from MD. I saw a well-dressed sales type lady sitting in the front seat of the WFRB promo van. All I had to say was “Quinn and Rose” and she practically leaped out of the van to talk to me.
She was very pro Q&R and I’m guessing her commission check took a hit when Q&R were kicked off the air. She said that she would pass my comments back to management.

Sneakers, thanks for the thread and the welcome. Add me to your list. I have been a member of FreeRepublic since the Whitewater days. Never had much to say worth anything and haven’t posted anything since around 2000. Meanwhile I forgot my password and my original email address was no longer valid to recover my password. I just created a new account so I could post to the Q&R thread.

It’s wonderful news! That said it’s a bad idea to start/promo anything on April Fool’s Day.
