PORT ANGELES, Wash. (AP) - A man found dead at a campground in Olympic National Park died from a wound caused by a crossbow.
The 54-year-old Joyce man was hit in the head by a short arrow called a bolt.

Technically, the arrow killed him; the crossbow was the propellant. Of course, that would also mean that all people who are shot to death are actually killed, not by the gun, but by the projectile. </grammarnazi>

I’ve often wondered why crossbows aren’t used more in criminal acts. Are they as easy to trace as bullets? I’d think not.
