A Weston parent urged the Broward School Board on Tuesday to fire a teacher he claims called his son a "rag-head Taliban.".
Youssef Wardani said Maria Valdes, who teaches French at Cypress Bay in Weston, called his 14-year-old son a Taliban four times in class last month.
"I want her fired," said Wardani. "As a parent I should not be spending my time in front of [the School Board], explaining to them what should have been done on Day One … My son is not a rag-head Taliban."

Barring credible witnesses or recordings of it, it never happened, and it is just a kid trying to get out of schoolwork, or CAIR type parents making stuff up to cause trouble or get a cash settlement.
Oh, and IF it DID actually happen, despite my agreeing personally with the sentiments, I’d fire that teacher, permanently.

Taking everything as face value, if a teacher called my son such a disparaging name, I’d beat the living sh!t out of him. Replace “towel head Taliban” with “honky”, “nigger” or “wetback”; then it’s time to throw down. I don’t know why FReepers are defending the teacher.
