PGA Golfer Dan Olsen: Tiger Woods Suspended For Failed Drug Test [audio link]
the game 730 ^ | 3-1-15 | Dan Olsen

Posted on 03/01/2015 2:18:21 PM PST by FlJoePa

This guy is a bit of a crack pot, but I've suspected this. Funny either way, and we'll see if anything else comes from this.

Michael Jordan and his playing baseball comes to mind.

What usually happens with steroid users is that their game just irreparably goes to crap when they stop using it. (Look at Sammy Sosa. He instantly went from hitting a homerun every 6 at-bats to hitting only air. Literally the last image of Sosa in Chicago is security footage of him leaving skid marks in the parking lot.) I think that’s what’s happening to Tiger here.

No kidding, if golf was such a dangerous game, why would so many old fat guys play it?

In hopes of getting lucky with the beverage cart girls?

I think Tiger has been faking those back injuries - they always seem to occur when his round begins to go bad.

Add the PED cheating, I hope he his sponsors sues him for everything he has for his dishonesty and misrepresenting their brands.

I’ve been saying this to my golfing buddies for some time now. Tiger is the only record-breaking icon from the peak steroids era who has not been taken down. Bonds, Mcgwire, Lance, Sosa, Clemens were all vigorously pursued, but Tiger has gotten a pass. Probably because the PGA Tour stands to lose big-time if it ever came out.

Come on Tim
A REAL
Golfer plays in snow, rain, wind etc.
I mean they aren’t hockey players
But a real golfer plays,
Not like these sissy boys on tour today.

No, it’s clear to me. Biden farted and is looking guilty. Obama is thinking, “that old wind bag did it again!” Zach Johnson and Tiger Woods are wondering if it was the President.

http://www.golf.com/tour-and-news/almost-quarter-pga-tour-pros-surveyed-sports-illustrated-think-woods-took-peds

EXCERPTS:
Of 71 PGA Tour players surveyed, 24 percent said they thought Woods “used HGH or other performance-enhancing drugs.”

Questions about Woods and PEDs arose in late 2009 when a New York Times article linked Woods to Canadian doctor Anthony Galea. The Times said Galea was under criminal investigation in the United States, and that he was suspected of providing performance-enhancing drugs to athletes.

The New York Daily News reported in December that Woods had been treated by Mark Lindsay, a Canadian chiropractor who is a principal in a Toronto clinic with Galea, and the Times reported that it was Lindsay who asked Galea to look at Woods. Lindsay sometimes treated patients of Bay Area Lab Cooperative (BALCO) founder Victor Conte. In 2005 Conte pleaded guilty to distributing steroids and money laundering.

Actually, most golfers DO leave the game by age 38 because they are old by pro golf standards. They just can’t hang with the young bucks anymore. There are exceptions of course, but not many.

Duval, if not injured, would have cut into Wood’s record.

Dan Olsen has since retracted. I actually thought some of his comments had some truth - Mickelson and gambling, drug testing for golfers began a few months AFTER Tiger’s LAST major win, Finchem visting Dustin Johnson’s home to discuss leave, etc.

I also agree that Tiger’s last “back issue” looked like he was faking.

While I don’t think Tiger is the Devil, I think he’s taken some stuff - and if off the record, most of his peers would agree. Which is sort of sad.

Is this hiatus because of a suspension or because of the fact that he doesn’t want to further embarrass himself? I don’t know, but Michael Jordan and the Chicago White Sox come to mind. Just sayin’...

Conspiracy theories aside, can you imagine what his 36 hole total at PGA National would have been? If he somehow finished, my guess would be over 160. From a guy who lives a half hour up the road.

Olsen was probably contacted by the PGA Tour legal office and presented with a few options, the least damaging is what came out in his retraction.
