I read once that this experiment is supposed to see if it is possible to clean up nuclear waste while producing energy from it at the same time. I'm guessing this is not going to be as dangerous as the activists are suggesting.

Everyone who has worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory [the “funny farm”] (LLNL)[LLL] knows that they brought in cats to catch rats 50 years ago-those cats come and go everywhere in the surrounding neighbohoods and they are ALL RADIOACTIVE.
Also there are many one-eared Jackrabbits hopping around that area. well duhhhhh I wunder why...hmmmm
